Obituaries

Mrs. Mary Sue Walker Anderson age 67 of 3880 English Oak Drive Lincolnton died on January 1, 2016.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Monday at Gloryland Baptist Church, with Rev. Macon Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:45 until 12:45 prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Anderson was a native of Lincoln County born on May 31, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Warren and Mary Rudisill Walker. Mrs. Anderson worked in the textile industry before retiring.

Survivors include: one son Johnny “Traye” Rhodes of Lincolnton; one daughter Debra Rhodes Hall of Elk Creek Va.; three sisters, two brothers; five grandchildren Beth, Michelle, John, Ryan, and Hobie; two great grandchildren Jacob and Olivia; special friend Mary Black of Denver.
