Edith Burnette Stamey

Edith Burnette Stamey, age 75, of Cardinal Care Center, died on Tuesday, December 29, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 1, 2016, at High Shoals Church of God with Bishop Billy Dunigan officiating. Burial will follow in High Shoals Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:15 p.m. prior to the service at the church. At other times, the family will be at the home of Lisa Stamey.
Mrs. Stamey was born March 7, 1940, in Spartanburg, SC, to the late Henry A. and Cora Southern Hill Burnette. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Tommy Stamey, and a son Rick Stamey. She retired from Rhyne Mills.
She is survived by a son, Jackie Stamey and wife Lisa of High Shoals; three daughters, Mandy Minish, Kathy Stamey, and Tina Stamey, all of Lincolnton; six grandchildren, Shelly Brooks, Misty Calo, Michelle Higgins, Buford Roberts, Scottie Brooks, and Justin Bradshaw; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Warlick Funeral Home, Edith Stamey Funeral Fund, PO Box 1407, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
