Charles “Charlie” Cornelius Heafner, Jr., age 29, of Denver, died on Sunday, December 27, 2015.
His funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:15 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Charlie was born April 27, 1986, in Lincoln County, to Charles Cornelius Heafner, Sr. and Lisa Shogran Heafner. He worked in construction.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Wilson Heafner of the home; his parents, Charles and Lisa Heafner of Maiden; one sister, Cassandra Heafner of Maiden; paternal grandmother, Fay Heafner of Shelby; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne Martin and Sharon Martin of Antioch, TN; brother-in-law Steve Wilson and wife Rebekah of Lincolnton; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and one nephew.
