Virginia Cothran Myers

Virginia Cothran Myers, age 78, of 611 Jerry Crump Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, December 24, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2015, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Myers was born June 30, 1937, in Clinton, SC, to the late Luke and Mamie Marie Carnell Cothran. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband John Monroe Myers, and three sisters. She worked as a seamstress.
She is survived by a son, John Myers, Jr. and wife Barbara of Lincolnton; a daughter, Marie Price of Lincolnton; a son, Steven Myers, Sr. and wife Freda of Cherryville; a sister, Dot Crider of Falls Church, VA; twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
