Helen Smith Propst

Helen Smith Propst, age 92, of Startown Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, December 20, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 24, 2015, at Salem Lutheran Church with Pastor David Keck, Sr. officiating. The body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Propst was born February 6, 1923, in Lincoln County, to the late Henry Summey and Ora Gertrude Heedick Smith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Moton Woodrow Propst, and two daughters, Linda Propst and Harriet Lineberger. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Dianne Painter and husband Bud, and Susan Harris and husband Randy, all of Lincolnton, and Robin Nicholson and husband Rick of Denver; son-in-law, Ronald Lineberger of Lincolnton; six grandchildren, Sheldon Lutz and husband Derek, Cynthia Payne and husband Billy, Cheryl Boyle and husband Michael, Ryan Lineberger and wife Kate, Elliott Harris and wife Regina, and Eleasa Allen; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Salem Lutheran Church, 3410 Startown Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
