Robert Allen Green, Sr.

Mr. Robert Allen Green, Sr., age 75, of 531 Norman Fair Avenue in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, December 16, 2015.
The family will be accepting friends at the home of Mr. Green, 531 Norman Fair Avenue in Lincolnton, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2015. A private inurnment will take place at a later date.
Mr. Green was born November 5, 1940, in Gaston County, to the late William Allen and Mattie Carrie Wild Green. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Susan Hall Green. He worked as a supervisor for Duke Energy and was a member of AF & AM Mason Lodge #704 of Gastonia.
He is survived by three sons, James Gay of Lincolnton, Jeremy Gay of Conover, and Allen Green, Jr. of Lincolnton; four daughters, Debbie “Deb” Messer of Charlotte, Rene Raborn of Grover, SC, Robin Molyneaux of York, SC, and Barbara “Barbie” Green of Rocky Mount, NC; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Lester Green.
