Edith Lawing Robinson

Edith Lawing Robinson, age 97, 2515 Lee Lawing Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, December 13, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Setzer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Robinson was born October 12, 1918, in Lincoln County, to the late William Winslow and Etta Perkins Lawing. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, George Robinson. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by two sons, Aaron Robinson, and wife Mary, and Donnie Robinson and wife Cindy, all of Lincolnton; three grandchildren, Tina Lineberger, and husband Chris, and Tracy Robinson, all of Lincolnton, and Ryan Robinson and wife Davenport of Mooresville; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church, 5286 E. Highway 150, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
