Robert Wesley Rhyne, Sr.

Robert Wesley Rhyne, Sr., age 72, of 1751 Maple Lane in Lincolnton, died on Monday, December 1, 2015.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Robert Redding officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Rhyne was born July 14, 1943, in Gaston County, to the late David Truett and Sara Smith Rhyne. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Emma Dean Robinson Rhyne. He served in the United States Navy and then worked as a press operator for Timken for 17 years.
He is survived by two sons, Brian Rhyne of Lincolnton, and Bobby Rhyne of Florida; two daughters, Beverly Rhyne and fiance, Shannon Bruce, of Lincolnton, and Beth Friday and husband John of Lincolnton; eight grandchildren, Brian Rhyne, Jr., Beverly Ann Rhyne, Bradley Friday, Emily Friday, Lindsay Friday, Avery Friday, Cameron McGee, and Monica Rhyne; three great-grandchildren, Zoey Walker, Leah Rhyne, and Payton Rhyne; four sisters; and two brothers.
