Mr. John Fernando Horton, age 69, of 208 D. Arbor Run Drive, Lincolnton died on Sunday, November 22, 2015.

Mr. Horton was born September 10, 1946, in Eden, New York, to the late Edwin Fernando and Winnifried Willett Horton. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served with the 1st Cav during Vietnam. He worked as a welding fabricator for Horton Welding. Mr. Horton was a dear and loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Donna W. Horton of the home; three sons, Kevin Horton and wife, Margarita of Charlotte, Christopher Horton of Lincolnton and Keith Horton and wife, Tonya of High Shoals; five grandchildren, Summer, Sean, Isabella, Victoria and Nicholas Horton; one sister, Margaret Horton of Michigan.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Gaston County, 258 East Garrison Boulevard, Gastonia, NC 28054.
