Mary Kathryn Moore Alexander, age 92, of Cherryville, died on Sunday, October 25, 2015.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2015, at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte, with Rev. Dr. Robert Wise officiating.
Mrs. Alexander was born November 11, 1922, in Lincoln County, to the late Alverdo and Effie Dellinger Moore. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Irwin O. Alexander, and a sister, Martha Abernethy.
She is survived by a son, David W. Alexander of Cherryville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Catawba Regional Hospice, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658, or to Boger City Baptist Church, 2201 E. Main Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
