Alma Chronister Beal
( March 13, 1921 - October 12, 2015 )
Alma Chronister Beal, age 94, of the Brian Center in Waynesville, and formerly of Lincolnton and Mooresville, died on Monday, October 12, 2015.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2015, in the River View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the River View Baptist Church Fellowship Hall following the graveside service.
Mrs. Beal was born March 13, 1921, in Lincoln County, to the late Roy and Mallie George Chronister. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Marshall Beal, and two sisters Mildred Chronister Strole and Jonnie Chronister Radford.
She is survived by a daughter, Luanne Beal Armstrong of Waynesville; two grandchildren, Joanna Lewis and husband Mark, and Lance Armstrong and wife Joycelyn, all of Mooresville; four great-grandchildren, Joseph and Zachary Lewis and Ava and Dallas Armstrong, all of Mooresville; and two nieces, Robin Davenport of Denver and Tracey Clawson of Lake Wylie, SC.
