Eunice Bonevent Icard Pendleton

Eunice Bonevent Icard Pendleton, age 100, of 1401 Laboratory Road in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, October 7, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2015, at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Philbeck officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Pendleton was born July 14, 1915, in Burke County, to the late Baxter and Ada Jane Lail Icard. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband William Howard Pendleton, a daughter Freida Pendleton Hovis, and a son Dennis Pendleton. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by six sons, Jerry Pendleton and wife Tommie of Ararat, VA, Lewis Pendleton and George Pendleton, both of Lincolnton, Ray Pendleton of Cherryville, Don Pendleton of Lincolnton and Douglas Pendleton; one daughter, Sheila Huss of Crouse; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
