Mary Ellen Morrell Griffith, age 84, of 7804 Morrell Lane in Denver, died on Sunday, September 20, 2015.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2015, at Crestview Cemetery in Alabama.
Mrs. Griffith was born August 6, 1931, in Monroe, Georgia, to the late Emory and Carrie Hudson Morrell. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Griffith. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Griffith of Denver, NC and Morris Griffith of Boaz, AL; two sisters, Christine Morrell of Denver, NC and Genette Ogburn of Albertville, AL; a grandson, Charles Calvert; two granddaughters, Morgan Griffith and Faith Griffith; and one great-grandchild.
