Obituaries

Mr. Howard Houston Helms age 65 of 265 Campbell Lane Lincolnton passed away on Thursday September 9, 2015.

Funeral  services  will be held 2:00pm Saturday September 12, 2015 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton. The family will receive friends on Friday at Warlick Funeral  Home  from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.

Mr. Helms was the son of the late John and Lunice Ingle Helms. He worked in the textile industry before retiring. Mr. Helms also served his country in the United States Army.

Survivors include: Wife Mamie Bradshaw Helms of the home; one son Tim Flowers of Lincolnton; one daughter Peggy H. Ballard of Elkin; one brother Keith Helms of Lincolnton; two sisters Linda Gainey of Lincolnton, Judy Avery of Lincolnton; two grandchildren Mark and Sara Ballard both of Elkin.
