Peggy Sue Black Drew

Peggy Sue Black Drew, age 74, of 402 N. Flint Street in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, August 27, 2015.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2015, in the Marvin United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jim Tate officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. in the Marvin United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
Peggy was born September 20, 1940, in Burke County, to Clifton Walker Black and the late Geneva Brendle Black. She worked as a receptionist.
She is survived by a son, Mark Ritchie and wife Angie of Charlotte; daughter, Pattie Whitener and husband David of Lincolnton; father, Clifton Walker Black of Cherryville; sister, Jill Heavner and husband Joe of Vale, NC; four grandchildren, Tyler Ritchie, Josh Umphress, Emily Halubka, and Ashley Whitener; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Marvin United Methodist Church, 2731 Startown Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
