Mr. James Herbert Minnick, III, age 79 of Carolina Care in Cherryville died on Sunday, July 26, 2015.
A private memorial service is planned.
Mr. Minnick was born January 27, 1936 in Augusta, GA to the late James H. and Alice Pope Summers Minnick. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army. Mr. Minnick was a nuclear engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Kesecker Minnick of Cherryville; five sons, Steven E. Minnick of Fayetteville, NC, James H. Minnick of AL, James S. Minnick of Kings Mountain, James V. Minnick of Kings Mountain, Herbert Minnick, IV of GA; two daughters, Laurie Heflin of Cherryville, Linda Duncan of Maiden; one sister, Patricia Alice Minnick of Trenton, SC; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
