Billy Gene White, age 68, of Vale, died on Wednesday, July 22, 2015.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2015, at Long Creek Baptist Church in Dallas, NC. The family will receive friends graveside following the service.
Mr. White was born April 29, 1947, in Gaston County, to the late Henry Willard and Betty Davis White.
He is survived by his companion, Nelda Cashion of the home; three daughters, Kimberly Sudol of Clover, SC, Windy White of Texas, and Misty Long of Dallas; eight grandchildren, Austin Long, Brooke Long, Chase Long, Christian Crain, Chelsea and Amber Crain, David Boling, and Hallie Aldridge; seven great-grandchildren, Journii Long, Jullian Black, Adailyn Long, Leo Crain, Amyiah Crain, McKenzie Boling, and Anthony Boling; extended family, Kevin Cash and wife Windy of Vale and Dennis Cash and wife Barbara of Dallas, daughter Kerry Strange of Lincolnton, and grandchildren Derek Strange, Claire Strange, Jordan Cash, Kristen Dillard, and Matt Horchak.
Memorials may be made to Catawba Regional Hospice, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
