Larry Dean Leonard

Mr. Larry Dean Leonard, age 73, of 2474 Johnstown Road in Crouse, died on Tuesday, July 21, 2015.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Phil Goins officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Leonard was born September 16, 1941, in Lincoln County, to the late Excell and Martha Carpenter Leonard. He served in the United States Army and then later worked as a cloth cutter for Pinnacle Furniture.
He is survived by his sons, Todd Leonard and wife Holly, and Mark Leonard and Tabitha, all of Vale; stepson, Jason Houser and wife Lynn of Lincolnton; stepdaughter, Melanie Woodie and husband Daniel of Long Shoals; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bill Leonard and David Leonard, both of Dallas, and Roy Leonard of Lincolnton;a sister, Louise Sisk of Lincolnton; and special friend, Mary Dellinger of the home.
