Charles Brown, Jr.

Charles “Charlie” “CB” Bradford Brown, Jr., 84, of Maiden, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at his home.
Services will be private.
He was born March 18, 1931, to the late Charles Bradford and Pauline White Brown. He served with the Navy Seabees from March 1951-1955. He was an avid farmer, construction worker, and master gardener. He loved his gardening, building furniture and taking care of his four canine companions.
Charles is survived by his wife Dorothy “Dot” Hitte Brown of the home; two sons, Ross Brown of Maiden and Robert Brown (Darlene) of Jamestown, TN; and a daughter, Theresa Harkey of Maiden. He has six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is survived by one brother, Robert (Francis) Brown of Chapel Hill, and predeceased by one brother, Lawrence Hal Brown (Carol), and a granddaughter, Sasha Brown.
