Adabelle Shrum Grigg

Adabelle Shrum Grigg, age 78, of 4886 Grigg Road in Lincolnton, died on Friday, July 10, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2015, at Messiah United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Grigg was born October 19, 1936, in Lincoln County, to the late Sullie Martin Shrum and Lydia Jane Auton. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Delbert “Bud” Grigg of the home; three sons, Steven Grigg and wife Karen, and Ricky Grigg, all of Lincolnton, and Jerry Grigg of Georgia; two granddaughters, Stephanie and Caitlin Grigg of Gastonia; a sister, Dorothy Kelly of Winston-Salem; a brother, Walter Shrum and wife Jane of Lincolnton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Messiah United Methodist Church, 4102 W. Highway 27, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
