Dorothy Mae Goodwin Hoover, age 92, of 4922 Reepsville Road in Vale, died on Friday, May 22, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Jack McHenry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hoover was born September 3, 1922, in Dunn, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde A. Hoover.
She is survived by a son, Ruffin Richardson, Jr. and wife Hope of the home; three grandchildren, Ruffin C. Richardson, Sandy Pressley, and Darin Bailey; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
