Sandra “Sandy” Connell Mauney, age 60, of 2718 Gold Rush Drive in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, April 23, 2015.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Sandy was born July 14, 1954, in Thomasville, NC to the late Boyce and Mary Story Connell. She worked for the Lincoln County School System.
She is survived by her husband, Jay Mauney of the home; two sons, Bryan Huitt and wife Teresa of Lincolnton and Jason Huitt and wife Christina of Lincolnton; a sister, Shirley Brinkley and husband Tom of Winston-Salem; and three grandchildren, Mason Huitt, Duncan Huitt, and Olivia Leatherman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Ministry of Lincoln County, PO Box 423, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
