Rachel Inez Duncan Ward

Rachel “Memaw” Inez Duncan Ward, age 75, of 2024 Bost Street in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, April 8, 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2015, at New Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Jaie Warlick officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Ward was born July 3, 1939, in Lincoln County, to Nancy Sherrill Duncan and the late Robert Duncan. She worked as a seamstress/homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Tim L. Brown of Lincolnton; four daughters, Terry Roberson of Maiden, Teena Mackey of Florida, Teresa Frye of Maiden, and Trudy J. Lynn of Lincolnton; two brothers, Ted Duncan and Paul Duncan, both of Lincolnton; her mother, Nancy S. Duncan of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
