Obituaries

Mr. Jeffrey Dean Strange, age 55, of 3564 Fred Beard Road in Maiden, died on Thursday, April 9, 2015.

His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Highland Drive Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Luke Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Jeff was born April 30, 1959, in Lincoln County, to the late J.B. and Dorothy Roberta Kiser Strange. He worked in furniture manufacturing.

He is survived by a daughter, Ashley Braden and husband Danny of Maiden; a sister, Cathy Lookadoo and husband Rick of Conover; three brothers, Dennis Strange and wife Sherry of Iron Station, Joey Strange and wife Glenna of Lincolnton, and Clayton Strange and wife Lisa of Hickory; and numerous nieces and nephews.
