Joseph Alexander Barrett
( August 13, 1940 - March 27, 2015 )
Mr. Joseph Alexander Barrett, age 74, of 2705 Maiden Highway in Lincolnton, died on Friday, March 27, 2015.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gregg Plott officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Barrett was born April 13, 1940, in Catawba county, to the late Robert Phillip and Gertie Coffey Barrett. He was self-employed.
He is survived by two sons, Scott Edward Barrett and wife Amanda, and Brian Alexander Barrett and wife Jessica, all of Lincolnton; a brother, Thomas Barrett of Hickory; two sisters, Faye Pope and husband Glenn of Newton and Ann Abbott of Hickory; three grandchildren, Addison Barrett, Brianna Barrett, and Raylee Barrett; and his “Best Friend”, Randy Williams of the home.
Memorials may be made to Catawba Regional Hospice, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
