Nancy Elliott Freeman

Mrs. Nancy Elliott Freeman, age 85, of 312 Terrace Place, Lincolnton, NC died Saturday, March 21, 2015.
Her funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church in Lincolnton. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Tuesday in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Freeman was born on July 9, 1929 and was the daughter of the late John Elliott and Katherine Elliott Sides. She was also preceded in death by her grandsons, Christopher and Cameron Hallman. Mrs. Freeman retired from the Lincoln County Department of Social Services as a social worker.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph “R.T.” Freeman of the home; two daughters, Ann Freeman Hallman and husband, Randy, of Lincolnton, Ellen Freeman Maddox and husband, Scott of Salisbury; two grandchildren, Ashley M. Knowles and husband, Aaron of Abaco, Bahamas and Ryne Maddox of Raleigh; one great-grandson, Kaiden Knowles.
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 114 West Main Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
