James Franklin Mosteller, Sr.

Mr. James Franklin Mosteller, Sr., age 67, of 1465 Poston Drive in Lincolnton, died on Monday, February 23, 2015.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2015, at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Andy Royals and Rev. Ken Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Mosteller was born January 20, 1948, in Lincoln county, to Margaret Armstrong Mosteller and the late Aaron James Mosteller. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a grandson and a great-granddaughter. He served in the Army National Guard and then worked in construction.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Hill Mosteller of the home; two sons, Jamie Mosteller and wife Jenifer of Huntersville and Chad Mosteller and wife Emily of Crouse; one brother, Larry Mosteller and wife Sharon C. of Lincolnton; one sister, Kay M. Iddings of Conover; his mother, Margaret Mosteller; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church Building Fund, 1982 Salem Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
