Obituaries

Laura Ann Robinson Caddell, age 80, of Terrell, died on Wednesday, February 4, 2015.

Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2015, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dallas, NC with Rev. Jonathan Schnibben officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Caddell was born May 10, 1934, in Lincoln county, to the late Harry Hoover and Lois Hovis Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Levon Caddell, a daughter Cynthia Ann Caddell, and seven siblings Mabel R. Setzer, Harry Robinson, Jr., Joyce R. Waddell, Jean R. McConnell, Max Robinson, Wilford Robinson, and Carroll Robinson. She worked as a sales coordinator with IBM. After retiring, she organized many fashion shows for charitable organizations through a local boutique.

Ann was very involved in her church. She visited shut-ins, participated in the “Joy Group,” and shared God’s love with all, especially to her son Lee and her seventeen nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her son, Lee Caddell of Charlotte; two sisters-in-law, Bobbie Leatherman Robinson and Bobbie Warlick Robinson, both of Lincolnton; and seventeen nieces and nephews.
