Earl Mackneal Lunceford, Sr.

Mr. Earl Mackneal Lunceford, Sr., age 68, of 4230 Orchard Road in Iron Station, died on Wednesday, February 4, 2015.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Freddie Grigg officiating. Burial will follow in Iron Station Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2015, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Lunceford was born July 28, 1946, in Hampton, TN, to the late D. E. and Tilda Potter Lunceford. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers John, Howard, and Tom Lunceford, and a sister Mary Laure. He worked in textiles.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce C. Lunceford of the home; four sons, Earl Mackneal Lunceford, Jr. and wife Kelley of Iron Station, Homer Wayne Lunceford and wife Christy of LaCrosse, VA, Dolphus James Lunceford and wife Denise of Iron Station, and Allen Ray Lunceford and wife Samara of Kings Mountain; three brothers, Claude Lunceford of Detroit, MI, Charlie Lunceford and wife Barbara of Iron Station, and Lane Lunceford of Shelby; one sister, Rachel Orsack of Houston, TX; twelve grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28207.
