( October 1, 1953 - February 1, 2015 )
Debra Joanne Peeler Scronce, age 61, of 6056 Gilbert Hilton Road in Vale, died on Sunday, February 1, 2015.

God’s daughter, and our beloved HERO, “Debbe” went to be with our Heavenly Father on February 1 at 7;15 a.m. She had a love for many things, including daisies, butterflies, baby butts, and M&M’s. Most importantly, Debbe loved GOD! He was the center of her life, and anyone that met her could instantly feel God’s presence in her heart.

Debbe was born October 1, 1953, to Clara Alma Turner Peeler Bivens and Harry Lee Peeler. Those now reunited with Debbe in Heaven are her mama, Clara Bivens, daddy Harry Peeler,  stepdad Arles Bivens, sister Loni Hull, half-sister Leann Murphy, and infant half-brother, Stacy Ballard. Debbe is survived by her greatest loves in this world, her husband James Evan Scronce; her children Zebulon Chuck Jenks and companion Trish Yoder, Zachery Daniel Jenks and wife Sarah Jenks, and daughter Clara Elisabeth Jenks.

Also, surviving family members include sister Libbie Peeler and husband Chip Jackson; brother Terry Peeler and companion Dianne Bird; brother Doug Bivens; sister Susan Kisby; brother Danny Peeler; sister Carol Peeler; stepmother Lazette Traynor; and special friend Lisa Jenkins.

Funeral services will be provided by Warlick Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home. Debbe’s funeral will be Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church where she and her husband were members. The body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Coalition Against Child Abuse.

“I thank you and praise you (Lord) for All things. The bad things help us to appreciate the Good things. I thank you for miracles…large and small. I pray that we all can learn to be obedient to you Lord and listen to your plan in our lives. If things don’t turn out the way I hoped Lord…I pray that I can accept your plan. Life is Good God…large or small…young or old. Please let us learn to leave it. In Jesus Holy name I pray. Amen.” - Debbe
