Katherine Beal Jacobs

Katherine Beal Jacobs, age 88, of 961 Moorland Lane in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, January 27, 2015.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Laboratory United Methodist Church with Pastor Charlene Hutchings officiating. Inurnment will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery.
Ms. Jacobs was born July 21, 1926, in Lincoln County, to the late Charlie and Laura P. Beal. She worked in food service.
She is survived by two sons, John Gilbert and wife Dorothy of Waxhaw, and Terry Gilbert and wife Beth of Birmingham, AL; three grandchildren, Joel Gilbert, Gerry Gilbert, and Katie Grace; and five great-grandchildren, Avery Grace, Harper Grace, Grayson Gilbert, Brooks Gilbert, and Reagan Gilbert.
Memorials may be made to Laboratory United Methodist Church, 2896 Laboratory Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
