Robert E. Goins, Jr., age 65, of Lincolnton died Friday, January 23, 2015.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Hollybrook Cemetery in Lincolnton with Rev. Charles Ingle officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Warlick Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be gathered at the Baker residence, 1460 Smith Farm Road, Lincolnton .
Mr. Goins was born on June 17, 1949 and was preceded in death by his son, Robby Goins and his mother, Katherine Mosteller Goins. He was a commercial truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Karen of the home; father, Robert E. Goins, Sr.; three brothers, Rev. Charles Ingle of Lincolnton, Randy Ingle of Lincolnton and Tim Goins of Lincolnton; one sister, Linda Jones of Lincolnton.
