Ethel Mary Boggs High

Ethel Mary Boggs High, age 95, of 2683 Salem Church Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, January 20, 2015.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2015, at High Shoals Memorial Gardens with Rev. Charles Ingle officiating.
Mrs. High was born September 30, 1919, in Gaston county, to the late Claude Max and Eva Nancy Abernathy Boggs. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Dupree High, Sr. She was a Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church of High Shoals for over 50 years, and loved reading her Bible.
She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Falls and husband Jerry of Lincolnton; a son, Marshall High, Jr. and wife Linda of Lincolnton; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
