Marilyn Randall Cook, age 72, of Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015.

Her funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2015, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Bollinger officiating. Burial followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family received friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cook was born August 22, 1942, in Cleveland county, to the late Victor and Iva Cook Randall. She was a homemaker and worked in administration in textiles.

She is survived by her husband of 54-1/2 years, Gerald L. Cook of the home; two sons, Bryon Cook and wife Donna of Lincolnton, and Mitchell Cook of Newton; two daughters, Vickie Fletcher and husband Gregg of Conover and Regina Propst and husband Robert of Granite Falls; brother, Ray Randall of Morganton; three grandchildren, Savannah Hall and husband Adam, Shelbey Cook and Wyatt Cook; and one great-grandson, Easton Hall.
