Mrs. Charlene Squair Scholl Bowers, age 86, of 1106 Timberlane Drive in Lincolnton, died Sunday, January 4, 2015.
Her funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Veronica Cannon officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery West, Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Monday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bowers was born March 21, 1928 in Rowan County to the late Charles F. and Madeline Stephens Scholl. She was a nurse.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmie C. Bowers of the home; two daughters, Christine B. Thomas of Cherryville, Patricia B. Carpenter of Lincolnton; five grandchildren, Crystal Haas, Jennifer L. Thomas, Dr. John R. Carpenter, III, Anna Gilbert, Emily Carpenter; four great-grandchildren, Dayson Haas, John Michael Haas, Rachel Gilbert, Lindsay Carpenter.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Lincolnton, 114 West Main Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
