Obituaries

Brent Matthew Heavner, age 28, of 3108 Gastonia Highway, Lincolnton died Monday, December 22, 2014.

His funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2014 at Salem Baptist Church with Dr. Andy Royals and Rev. Ken Gibson officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Friday prior to the funeral at Salem Baptist Church.

Brent was born on July 31, 1986.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John F. Heavner, Jr., his great grandparents, Worth and Jennie Lineberger and Burgan and Nellie Hollifield and his uncle, John Richard Heavner.

He is survived by his parents Mike and Terri Heavner of the home; one brother, Brandon Heavner and wife, Amy of Lincolnton; one sister, Kayla Spencer and husband, Tyler of Bessemer City; grandparents, Wayne and Shirley Hollifield of Lincolnton and Evelyn Heavner of Cherryville.
