Helen Friday Finger, age 90, of 707 Andrews Drive in Lincolnton, died on Friday, December 19, 2014.

Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2014, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Hollar and Pastor Michael Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Finger was born October 12, 1924, in Gaston County, to the late Melvin and Moree Vandyke Friday. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Martin L. Finger, Jr., and sisters; Ernestine”Tenny” Blackburn, and Becky Whitner. Mrs. Finger worked as a Cafeteria manager in the Lincoln County School system.

She is survived by sons, Larry M. Finger, Jim A. Finger both of Lincolnton and Danny Finger of Statesville; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
