Obituaries

Lorenzo Benito Ioan, age 86, of 368 Clear Lake Trail in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, December 14, 2014. He is survived by his wife Maria, their son and daughter, and three grandchildren.

He was born in northern Italy, and immigrated to New York in 1960 with his bride. Lorenzo fulfilled beyond belief, the needs of his family, as a house painter and security guard. They moved to Lincolnton late in life to be near their son Robert Ioan, and their grandchildren, Victoria and Christopher.

His family was at his bedside when the Lord called him home. Lorenzo was buried at Zion Cemetery in Lincolnton. We wish to thank all of the people who always cared for him, especially in his last frail years.
