Virginia Irene Brooks Schronce

Virginia Irene Brooks Schronce, age 93, of 2021 Conover Blvd., East, in Conover, died on Friday, December 12, 2014.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2014, in the Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Schronce was born June 26, 1921, in Buncombe county, to the late William R. and Ruth Sharp Brooks. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ervin L. Schronce. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by four daughters, Shirley McDaniels of Ellenboro, NC, Geraldine Faye Anthony of Cherryville, Dorothy Huffman of Hickory, and Thelma Hefner of Hickory; and two brothers, Alvin Brooks of Charlotte and Hubert Brooks of Conover; and numerous grandchildren.
