Roy Lee Haynes, age 69, of 2395 Skyview Lane in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, October 14, 2014.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Haynes was born August 11, 1945, in Lincoln county, to the late William Russell and Ella Schronce Haynes. He worked for Excel, Inc. as a sprayer.

He is survived by his siblings, Ray Haynes of Vale, Bill Haynes of Lincolnton, Betty Craig of Georgia, Mary Hedgpeth of Gastonia, Kay Hughes of Vale, Kathleen Hedgpeth of Lincolnton, Junie Ledford of Crouse, and Eddie Haynes and wife Faye of Vale.
