Mr. John Albert Allen, Jr., age 57, of 2359 Ramble Trail in Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2014, at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

John was born January 4, 1957, in Catawba county, to the late John Albert Allen, Sr. and Anita James Shultz. He was co-owner of Allen Drywall.

He is survived by two sons, John Allen, III, and Jim Allen, both of Lincolnton; a daughter, Chelsea Allen of Lincolnton; one brother, Jim Lambert of High Shoals; three sisters, Mary Higdon of Iron Station, and Brenda Allen and Sandra Reid, both of Maiden; and seven grandchildren.
