Obituaries

Mr. William Douglas Kennedy, age 60, of the Brian Center, Mooresville died Thursday, September 18, 2014.

A memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2014 at High Shoals Church of God with Rev. Billy Dunigan officiating.

Mr. Kennedy was born on February 1, 1954.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Parker Kennedy.  Mr. Kennedy was a textile employee.

He is survived by his father, William Paul Kennedy of Lincolnton; two brothers, Robert Kennedy of Lincolnton and Stephen Kennedy of Lincolnton; one sister, Debra Jenkins of Statesville.
