Obituaries

Mrs. Edna Seagle Wilson, age 89, of 2064 West Highway 150 in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Cardinal Healthcare.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2014, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Lawing officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wilson was born October 23, 1924 in Lincoln County, to the late Julius Arthur and Mattie Carpenter Seagle.   In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray McDonald Wilson.  Mrs. Wilson worked as a dietician at Lincoln Nursing Home for 16 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Sisk and husband Jim of Lincolnton, Vickie Jackson and husband Randy of Lincolnton; four grandchildren, Chad Jackson, Samuel Jackson, Crystal Lawing and husband Chad, Kimberly Sisk; five great-grandchildren.
