Lena Belle Travis Allran
( April 15, 1926 - August 27, 2014 )

Lena Belle Travis Allran, 88 of Lincolnton passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC.

She was born April 15, 1926 in Newton, NC to George Louie and Annie Deal Travis.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Cecil E. Allran, brother, Wade Travis, and son-in-law Steven T. Martin.

She was a generous, kind, sweet and loving lady that never met a stranger.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  A devoted member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, she served there in many capacities.  She retired from Battleground School Cafeteria to become a full-time homemaker.

She is survived by a son, Neil E. Allran of Lincolnton; daughters, Emily A. Robinson and husband, Ben of Lincolnton and Cecelia A. Martin of Crouse; grandchildren, Kiley A. Donnell and husband, Will of Concord, NC, Will Warren and wife, Nori of Columbia, SC and Paul N. Robinson of Lincolnton; great-grandchildren, Arlee and Arden Donnell, and a niece and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held at Hollybrook Cemetery in Lincolnton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2014 with Pastor Michael Collins officiating.
