Mr. Wilbert Wesley Cook, Jr., age 46, of 6283 Ballard Road, Denver, NC died Saturday, June 28, 2014.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Williams officiating.

Mr. Cook was born on May 17, 1968 and was preceded in death by his father Wilbert Wesley Cook, Sr.

He is survived by his daughter, Hayley Anna Cook of Denver, NC: mother, Doris Hoyle Cook Waycaster and husband, Ed of Hickory, NC ; one brother, Earl Cook and wife, Carol of Lincolnton; one sister, Nora Sue Cook of  Hickory, NC; two half-sisters, Betty Baughan of Cherryville and Judy Gladden of Cherryville; one step-sister, Ashley Waycaster of Alaska; two step-brothers, Dennis Waycaster of Texas and Eddie Joe Waycaster of Washington; nieces and nephew, Chelsea Cook, Leah Cook and Aaron Noland.
