Obituaries

Frances Pittman Christopher, age 80, of 1455 Alexis-High Shoals Road in Dallas, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2014, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Laughter officiating. Inurnment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Christopher was born July 30, 1933, in Lancaster County, SC to the late Charles Thurlow and Thelma Caskey Pittman. She worked as a winder in textiles.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Delano Christopher of the home; one daughter, Lorie Christopher Parker and husband Mel of High Shoals; one sister, Patricia P. Phillips of Newton; and a grandson, Charles Garrett Shelton of High Shoals.
