Obituaries

Janie Lineberger Wilkinson, age 78, of the Lakewood Care Center in Denver, and formerly of Mack Ballard Road, died on Wednesday, April 9, 2014.

Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2014, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Warlick Funeral Home. At all other times the family will be at the home of Steve Wilkinson, 2987 Mack Ballard Road in Denver.

Mrs. Wilkinson was born July 14, 1935, in York, South Carolina to the late Graden and Evelyn Jolly Lineberger. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Wilkinson.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by a son, Steve Wilkinson and significant other Judy Ballard of Denver; two daughters, Donna Andari and husband Rabih of Maiden and Paula Gates and husband Chris of Lincolnton; five grandchildren, Theresa Lynch, Amy Nixon, Michael McHargue, Jennifer Beck, and Stacy Guiton; and six great-grandchildren.
