Alice Catherine “Cat” Christopher Devine, age 72, of 231 Westview Drive in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, March 18, 2014.

Her funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charlene Hutchings officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2014, at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Devine was born December 7, 1941, in Catawba county to the late John Calvin and Lillie Viola Newton Christopher. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Maybel Christopher and a brother, Calvin Christopher. She worked as a welder for Vermont American and loved gardening and coloring.

She is survived by her husband, Judson Devine of the home; six sisters, Joann Killian and husband Frank of Maiden, Majel Moser of Lincolnton, Becky Christopher of Newton, Linda Fulbright of Conover, Janice Kiser of Statesville, and Kay McGee and husband Tim of Conover; and three brothers, Johnny Christopher and wife Carolyn of Catawba county, Roger Christopher of Lincolnton, and Kenneth Christopher of Hickory.
