John Adam Clark

John Adam Clark, age 40, of 3685 Killian Road, Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, March 11, 2014.


His funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2014, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. W. Ted Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

 

Adam was born March 2, 1974, in Catawba County to James David Clark and Brenda Kaye Morrison. He served in the United States Army Airborne Special Forces and then later worked as a truck driver for Swift Trucking. Adam loved fishing and his cars and was a real charmer.

 

He is survived by his father, James D. Clark and wife Neize of Newton; his mother, Brenda Kaye Morrison and stepfather Terry Gales of Lincolnton; a sister, Bonita Lester and husband Dale of Lincolnton; a daughter, Shelby Clark of Lincolnton; maternal grandmother, Ruby Morrison of Lincolnton; three beloved nieces, Kristina, Samantha, and Haleigh Lester, all of Lincolnton; four stepsisters, Melissa Cook, Susan Carpenter, Kristie Gilbert, and Kisha Hayes; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

 

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 107 N. Cedar Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
