Debra Anne Simmons, age 53, of 169 Cedar Grove Church Road in Vale, died on Tuesday, February 25, 2014.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 28, 2014, at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Chaplain Hilda Miller officiating.

Debra was born September 1, 1960, in Mecklenburg County to James A. and Claudette H. Simmons. She worked as a system administrator for FSI of Charlotte.

She is survived by her parents, James A. and Claudette Simmons of Vale; brother Reginald Simmons of Vale; and sister, Donna Kimmer of Charlotte.
